I take the time to get to the bottom of your complaints.Swantje Law
Seeing the whole person
As an osteopath, I use my hands to look for restrictions in movement, tension and asymmetries that may be connected to your complaints. From an osteopathic point of view, connective tissue, the so-called fasciae, can also play a role.
I look at your complaints in the context of the whole body. That is why I often also treat regions that are not directly where it hurts.
What I can support you with
A doctor’s visit beforehand is not required. Whether a treatment can make sense for you or your child, we clarify beforehand – gladly also briefly by phone.
Osteopathy for adults
Gentle manual treatment, for example when your back, neck, head or jaw have been bothering you for some time.
Paediatric osteopathy
For babies from birth, toddlers and school-age children – with further training in paediatric osteopathy.
IHHT – new
Intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training lying down: a passive breathing training that may support your recovery.
With me you always have the same contact person
My practice is deliberately small. From the first call to the last treatment you are with me: I know your story, and you do not have to retell it every time.

Will my health insurance cover the cost?
You will receive an invoice from me based on the German fee schedule for non-medical practitioners (GebüH). Many statutory health insurers contribute part of the cost as a voluntary extra benefit, often only with a medical certificate. Private health insurance and supplementary insurance reimburse depending on the plan. If possible, please check with your insurer before treatment starts whether it pays something towards the cost or covers it. More about cost coverage
Do I need a referral or a prescription?
No. You need neither a referral nor a prescription for an appointment. A doctor’s visit beforehand is not required. It makes sense if your health insurer asks for a medical certificate for reimbursement.
From what age do you treat babies?
From birth. I additionally studied paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathie Schule Deutschland and treat babies, toddlers and school-age children. An appointment for children takes 30 to 50 minutes. Please bring the yellow children’s health record booklet (U-Heft), for babies the maternity record (Mutterpass), and a cuddly toy or toy is welcome. More about paediatric osteopathy
