Why I am a good osteopath

I want to get to the bottom of things and understand why physical problems arise. In doing so, I like to look beyond the boundaries of osteopathy and am always looking for new diagnostic and treatment options to help my patients as well as possible.

From Ayurveda to bodywork

I came to bodywork more by chance: Umberto Grippo from India came to Wachenhausen and offered a course in Ayurvedic massage. The concept of Ayurveda inspired me so much that in 2011 I completed training as an Ayurveda Practitioner at the Ayurveda Akademie Hamburg. Training in foot reflexology massage and Dorn-Breuss therapy followed, as well as a Thai massage course in Chiang Mai.

Hamburg and the study of osteopathy

For several years I worked as a masseuse and Ayurveda therapist in Hamburg spas and completed a five-year programme in osteopathy at the IAO. The feel for the body, muscles and tissue that I had gained in treatments I was able to extend and refine further. I opened my first practice in Hamburg in 2013.

Paediatric osteopathy and the way back home

After the birth of my daughter I could not resist and completed additional training as a paediatric osteopath at the OSD. In 2020 I felt drawn back to my home region and opened my osteopathy practice in Katlenburg. In December 2025, after another baby break, I opened my practice in Wachenhausen, where I treat adults and children with osteopathy.
