Your first appointment: process and prices
At my practice in Katlenburg-Lindau, in the district of Wachenhausen, I treat adults and children with osteopathy and also offer IHHT. Treatments take place by appointment only. An osteopathic treatment for adults takes about 50 minutes and costs €95.

Does health insurance cover the cost of osteopathy?
You will receive an invoice from me based on the German fee schedule for non-medical practitioners (Gebührenverzeichnis für Heilpraktiker, GebüH). Many statutory health insurers contribute part of the cost as a voluntary extra benefit, often only with a medical certificate. Private health insurance and supplementary insurance reimburse depending on the plan. If possible, please check with your insurer before treatment starts whether it pays something towards the cost or covers it.
A doctor’s visit beforehand is not required. If your insurer asks for a medical certificate for reimbursement, it is best to get it beforehand.

What applies if I have to cancel an appointment?
You can cancel appointments free of charge by phone, email or WhatsApp up to 24 hours before they start. For appointments that are cancelled later or not kept, I charge a no-show fee of €70, because the appointment is reserved for you.
